Start With the Catalogue
Look up your CRM in the integration catalogue. Every listing has a label. Native means we have built a connector for it. Via generic connector means it connects through one of the routes below. If your CRM is not listed, the generic routes still apply.
Route 1: A Native Connector
Native connectors exist for priority CRMs such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. An administrator signs in, chooses the data centre or region where it applies, and applies the ready-made field mapping. You can then adjust any field in the field mapper.
Route 2: The Custom REST Connector
If your CRM has an API, your IT team can configure the custom REST connector. They enter the API address and authentication details, then map the endpoints for reading a record and writing an outcome. No code is required, and credentials are encrypted and never shown in the browser.
Route 3: Webhooks and No-Code Tools
Call Caddie can send an event every time an outcome is recorded or a meeting is booked, and can receive events from other systems. If your CRM can call a webhook, or if you use an automation platform, you can keep records in step without a direct connection.
Route 4: A CRM Launch Link
Add a button or custom link to your CRM record page that opens Call Caddie on the right record. The link includes the CRM name, the record type and the record ID. This works with any CRM that supports custom links, and is often the quickest win for reps who live in their CRM.
Route 5: CSV and Spreadsheets
Import leads from a CSV file and export outcomes the same way. Small teams can also use Google Sheets, Excel Online or Airtable as a lead source and outcome destination with column mapping.
Mapping Fields Well
- Map only what reps need on the call screen and what outcomes must update.
- Match picklist values, such as lead status and stage, exactly.
- Decide which system wins if a field is changed in both places.
- Test with a sample record in draft before you publish.
If the CRM is briefly unavailable, Call Caddie queues updates and retries, so reps can keep calling.
